Gelatinus Cube is an experimental rock band from Mentor, OH that started as ska and punk, but later assumed a more prog-rock feel (a la Radiohead and the Cardiacs).
Phase One: Pat Chase (bass), Tim Swanson (guitars), Jason Kandelac (drums) and Lister (saxes) record "Crappy Demo", "Orange", and "Lister Gets The Ladies".
Phase Two: G-Cube is Joined by new drummer Mike Hayes. They record Gelanarchy at Casa de Hayes studios in Painsville, OH.
Phase Three: Tim joins the Ska band Free Sample Tuesday. Tim is replaced by Matt Chalko (Katty Whompus, Disaster March) They record "Baron Von Hopon ...read more

Phase Four: The Cube changes, with Pat playing guitar,keys and vocals, John Saige playing bass, Lister playing saxes, guitars, keyboards, and Mike on drums. The current lineup produces the two albums collectively known as "POLICY 5600."
The first disc, "Overseen by Computers With Tender Loving Care", was released on December 20th, 2006, and the as of yet untitiled followup, is currently awaiting a release date.
New material from both albums made its live debut on August 20th, 2006.
