Formed in 2020, Gloomer founding members Bill Karachristos and Josh Marshall envisioned a single release of a few songs that Karachristos had been working on. They soon became a full band with addition of Addison Steele and Aaron Bromley. Heavily influenced by ’90s era alternative and shoegaze, Gloomer creates a shimmering hazy blend of guitar histrionics and bombastic rhythms with a 10 song LP coming in October.
Says lead singer Karachristos of the latest track, “‘Feel Again’ is probably my favorite song on the record. I wanted to write a song that directly addressed my own personal fear of other people’s demise, as well as the struggles I go through on a daily basis to cover up my own anxieties in public. This song came together naturally once I brought it to the band.”
