Hale were a highly acclaimed Filipino pop/alt rock band that formed in 2004. Shortly after their formation, Hale were signed toEMI, who released their
self titled debut a year later. The album was a tremendous success, going triple platinum as of May2006. They also won various awards for their
music, including a MYX award and three MTV Philippines awards, with onenomination at the MTV Asia Awards for "Favorite Artist". However, the
success was relatively short lived, as Hale announcedtheir split in 2010. Even though they were only active for six years, Hale are easily among one of
the most popular Filipino rockgroups of the 2000's.
