Hamka

Hamka was formed in the City of Nice in France, 2003. 2003 Hamka released their first ep called Exodus. The lyrical themes from here on and in the future albums, have to do with ancient civilizations fused with science fiction. In 2005 Hamka released their first album Unearth, later on Hamka went in a hiatus stage in 2009 and returned as a whole band back in 2013 with a single release. Afterwards in 2017 the band released their second album known as Multiversal, Hamka is still active as a band. The current line up is consists of Willdric Lievin-(Guitars rhythm), Elisa C. Martín-(Vocals), Alexandre Ardisson-(Bass), JB Pol-(Drums), Julien Negro-(Guitars lead), Williams Marx-(Percussion). Also the bands name "Hamka" comes from an old Tibetan goddess. « hide
