Hammerkill (formed 1989) were among the first bands to combine the genres of 80’s style Thrash Metal and dubstep. Their
lyrics focus mostly on suicides of old people. Although the debut album, Bred to Kill with Hammers, wasn't a big hit, the other
albums were big smashes, including whichever one had that song "Ikea’s HorseBalls, Meat Scandal!" on it, not to be confused

Hammerkill is noted as being the explosive force behind the "Big Bang", an action that most scientists, atheists, and LSD
abusers believe created the universe. Lead Vocalist Eddie Thrasher (a.k.a. "Sweaty Eddie"), the group's frontman, was born
to The Virgin Mary on the sun, and hitched across the galaxy on rouge comets. Thrasher came down to Earth by the power
of the Holy Spirit, riding the meteorite that allegedly killed the dinosaurs. (This mass murder has not yet been proven in a
court of law.)
Upon arriving to Earth and witnessing the chaos that his death-rock had brought upon the planet, Thrasher decided to try
and bring peace to mankind by performing unbelievable Thrash Metal songs to crowds of drunks alongside several musically
inept mortals. They would go on to become Hammerkill. Thrasher is seated at the right hand of The Father He Does Not
Know*.
Hammerkill has received praise from critics throughout their career due to their great songwriting. Lyrics such as heevan
resthisonhisheadonahammer made of concrete... agaaaaiiiin, and hevaaaaan he’s gonna show em heavaaan but he’s gonna be
workinforthe deviaaaaal, Hammerkill has managed to maintain this quality all the way through to there most recent effort,
Progressive Concept Album. They fucking nailed it with that one
The band's critically acclaimed 4th Studio album Eyehategodsomuch (2013) was anchored by a chart-topping jingle of the
same name. Partially recorded using Eddie Thrasher’s trademark Blowdryer, it debuted at number one in numerous countries,
selling 10 million copies worldwide upon its first week, surpassing Michael Jackson's legendary Thriller (1982) album as the
fastest-selling album ever. Eyehategodsomuch has sold over 35 million copies worldwide as of April 2013. HARPOONS THRUST
IN THE SKY! and WHITE, SNAIL! HOLY, GRAIL! were follow-up records, and were released in 2013 and 2013 respectively to
similar financial success and positive press response, but parts of both albums were again recorded using Thrasher’s very own
Blowdryer.
Hammerkill’s WHITE, SNAIL! HOLY, GRAIL!, released on August 12th 1991, is their sixth studio album and their first as a lame
mainstream pop band. Though better than the “Load of Bull Spunk” albums and far better than “St. Trash Can", the album
disappointed many hardliner fans who wanted an album comprised of ten “Torn Between Hammers and Hentai Porn” type
numbers.
With mega-hits like “Bleeding Women” and “I Don’t Trust Anyone that Bleeds for a
Week and Doesn’t Die “, Hammerkill reached their goal of mainstream success, which was merely a means to their ultimate
goal of tormenting Fall out Boy with their unparalleled chart-dominators.
