"Noir", the debut EP from this swedish group features the darker side of the Helioscope sound. The downtempo post-
metal/hardcore/rock of their 2013 digital/vinyl release has received overall positive reviews. Swedish rock magazine Close Up
labeled the band "best unsigned act" and awarded "Noir" with a 9/10 review in their 2013 november issue, somewhat comparing
it to recent works of fellow swedish giants Cult Of Luna. The band has also been compared with acts such as Isis, Burst and
Intronaut. Consisting of the Ösmark brothers Jonathan (guitar,vocals) and Oliver (bass, keys, vocals), Helioscope are
completed by Johan Prim (drums) and Sean Whittaker (vocals, guitar).
