Hoodrum was an electronic duo from Japan that formed in 1994. It was initially a side project of electronic artist Fumiya Tanaka
and alternative artist Akio Yamamoto, who was then in the popular indie rock band Secret Goldfish. When Secret Goldfish
disbanded in 1995, however, Hoodrum became a more serious project, and the duo became major in early 1996 when they
signed to Sony Records. As a major act, Hoodrum released a few singles and one EP, "Business Card", before disbanding in 1999.
