Hour of 13 consisted mostly of multi-instrumentalist (and occasional vocalist) Chad Davis. All their releases have been recorded
by Chad, with Phil Swanson on vocals, who has a long and complicated history with the band.
Phil joined Hour of 13 and recorded their self-titled debut, then briefly left in 2009, leaving Chad Davis to form a new line-up as

Chad Davis wrote and recorded one song in memory of Jason McCash, "Upon Black Wings We Die" (5:42), and announced the
end of Hour of 13 on April 7th, 2014.
In March 2015, he announced that Night Magic would carry on Hour of 13's legacy, but eventually took up the Hour of 13 name
again the next year. https://hourof13.bandcamp.com/ https://shadowkingdomrecords.bandcamp.com/album/salt-the-dead-the-
