II Tru is a female hip hop duo from Cleveland, Ohio. First formed in 1993, the group got their big break in late 1995 when they
signed to Relativity Records and became a part of the Mo Thugs collective, which was spearheaded by the massively popular hip
hop group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. In November of 1996, II Tru made their debut on the Mo Thugs "Family Scriptures" album,
and the duo later released their first album, "A New Breed of Female", in 1997. The album was a slight hit in the mainstream
