Ichiro Nitta is a Japanese musician. Best known for his work as the frontman of the cult pop band Spectrum, he later embarked
on a solo career after Spectrum split in 1981. After his solo releases failed to pull in the the same numbers as Spectrum, Nitta
ended up retiring from the music scene in 1985, although he has sporadically returned to performing throughout the last decade.
