James Mac Gaw

Born 27 September 1968 in Scotland and died 8 March 2021 in Rezé, France. Co-founder of the French jazz-rock group One Shot, but received the most international attention as a member of Magma (1998-2017). The music of "La fin des Temples", a single composition of slightly over 30 minutes, was written by James Mac Gaw as a homage to Christian Vander and the music of Magma in 2004, but only recorded and released in 2020 shortly before his passing due to brain cancer.
