Jarhead was founded in 2007 and the band quickly emerged from the basement and took to the stage in a series of live performances. These late-night activities would satisfy the urge to thrash, but they would also stir an urge that was even more overwhelming: the urge to create. Image of Insanity was the inevitable result, an album of relentless aggression and melodic progression.
From there, vocalist Alex felt his mission was complete, and departed from the band. For the four that remained, however, no solace could be found as they searched for a new singer. Eventually, they found another vocalist who shared in their insatiable obsessions and desires, Jerry. Jerry joined Dree, JP, Rory and Yanick in a much needed return to performing and perfecting their musical dreams. These efforts formed a second album: Beautiful Delusion, released in 2012. « hide |
