John Holmez was a hardcore punk band from Japan that first formed in 1995. The group’s heavy sound that had numerous metalcore elements quickly
won them a passionate cult following, although John Holmez eventually ended up disbanding in 2000. In 2015, after 15 years apart, John Holmez
reunited, and in March of 2016, released the single “Samurai Undercover”, which was their first original release in 16 years. Despite their sudden
reemergence with new material, John Holmez ended up disbanding once more in late 2016.
