Josh Birdsong has crafted a sonic signature inherently his own. A Detroit native currently based in Nashville, Josh intertwines the influences of
innovative artists such as The Police, The Smiths, and Death Cab for Cutie with the ambient textures of Tycho and Washed Out. His sophomore
EP, “Where the Light Bends”, was recorded in Nashville by producer Stephen Leiweke, who has worked on projects with acclaimed artists
including Ingrid Michaelson and Jars of Clay. “Where the Light Bends” captures the range of Josh’s arch-typical songwriting style and his guitar
playing from edge to ethereal.
