Kat Onoma est un groupe français qui mélange rock, jazz et musique expérimentale.
Kat Onoma naît en 1980 à Strasbourg sous le nom de Dernière Bande. Il prend son nom actuel en 1986, qui signifie en grec « comme son nom
l'indique ». Le groupe se sépare en 2004, après avoir produit sept albums studio ou live. Une compilation sort la même année.
