Katze were a Japanese rock band that formed in 1986. Within just a few years, the group broke mainstream stardom, and were
one of the leading bands of the late 80's and early 90's in the Japanese rock scene. However, this reign would prove to be short
lived, as they split in 1991, meaning that Katze were only active for five years. Even though they were only active for a short
time, the group still have a sizable cult following today, over twenty years after their initial disbandment.
