Russian RAC/Metal band formed in 1994 under the name Русское Гетто ("Russkoje getto" - Russian Ghetto) and became one of the first RAC bands in Russia, releasing two demos - "Готовый разрушать" ("Ready to Destroy" - 1994) and "Слава России!" ("Hail Russia!" - 1995). In 1997 Denis G. decided to change band's name to Коловрат (Kolovrat).
The band evolved from agressive RAC to a more Power/Thrash Metalesque sound with an increasing epic touch and important predisposition for stylish ballads.
Some of the band's songs are officially prohibited in Russia and listed in the Federal List of Extremist Materials.
