Kriegsmaschine is a black metal band from Kraków,
Poland, consisting of M. and Darkside, the two main
members of Mgla. Mglaand Kriegsmaschine clearly
share many similarities but serve as outlets for two
different creative expressions for Darkside andM., as
Kriegsmaschine operates with a more martial sound and
a greater emphasis on rhythm than melody. Lyrically
andthematically, both bands are centred on nihilism, with
Kriegsmaschine being by far the bleaker manifestation
of the two.
