L'Trimm was a hip-pop/dance duo from Miami, Florida that first formed in 1985. Along with 2 Live Crew, L'Trimm are widely regarded as one of the earliest popular Miami-based rap groups, having their most significant success in 1988 with their single "Cars with the Boom". L'Trimm would go on to release five more singles and three albums before disbanding in late 1991.
