Libro is a Japanese hip hop artist. First making his mark on the scene with his 1997 single "Kiseki", Libro soon became well known
for his unique blend of sung, harmonic hip hop, with minor R&B elements embedded as well. After the release of his 2000 single,
"Ongaku Zanmai", Libro temporarily disappeared from the hip hop underground. In 2006, Libro returned to form the duo Fuuri,
alongside singer Keyco. In 2007, Fuuri disbanded, and Libro once again disappeared for a few years, until he suddenly released
"Night Canoe" in early 2009. Since then, Libro has been a regular in the Japanese hip hop scene, mostly working as a producer,
and is seen as a veteran in the R&B-hip hop mixture which would become dominant in the mid-2000's J-pop scene.
