Μαρίκα Παπαγκίκα (Marika Papagika) was a Greek folk musician that is notable for being one of the first Greek women to be put to record. After
emigrating to New York in 1918, she would record over 200 performances with Victor Records and Columbia Records. She passed away in
August of 1943.
