Known for his work on the Devil May Cry and Monster Hunter franchises, Masato Kouda is a Japanese music composer, arranger, and performer who also happens to be the founder of Tokyo-based studio Design Wave. After having graduated from the Kunitachi College of Music, he was employed by Capcom for quite awhile; he contributed to various video games churned out by them until he left the company not long after Devil Cry 2 (and to an extent, Resident Evil Outbreak).
