Mason are a thrash metal band hailing from Melbourne, Victoria. Relatively new to the scene, the band smashed their way through Australia, state by state on their, ‘War Across Australia’ tour, leaving a path of destruction in their wake. Mason are a thrash metal band hailing from Melbourne, Victoria. Spellbinding riffs and solos, coupled with a tight and highly impressive rhythm section, make Mason one of Australia's most sort after thrash acts. The release of their debut album, Warhead, saw the band kick it up a notch, unleashing their unique blend of high intensity thrash metal.
Since the release of their self-titled EP in 2011, Mason have toured and shared the stage with bands like Forbidden, Blood Duster, King Parrot and Elm Street. Cementing their place at the top of Australian thrash, the journey is just beginning for Mason. In August 2012 the band entered the studio with producer Ermin Hamidovic of Systematic Productions to record their debut album Warhead. The album showcased the hard work and commitment applied by the band as young musicians, and their development into a band that can now be considered the real deal. Warhead featured a guest appearance from Jeff Loomis (Nevermore) and artwork by Eliran Kantor (Testament, Sodom, Hatebreed).
With a live show that leaves jaws dropped, the band is gaining a massive reputation in the Australian scene. The focus is now set on breaking through into the international market. « hide |
