Matt Mays + El Torpedo is a rock band created by Matt Mays after releasing one solo studio record, and after leaving his first
band, the Canadian indie act The Guthries. The band's members hail from Canada's east coast. The band's style of rock is
influenced heavily by the likes of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and also borrows from traditional Canadian East Coast music
and country.
