Midlake

Midlake is an American indie rock band from Denton, Texas, currently consisting of Eric Pulido (vocals/guitar), Paul Alexander (bass), McKenzie Smith (drums), and Eric Nichelson (guitar), Jesse Chandler (keyboard/piano/flute), and Joey McClellan (guitar)The band's original frontman Tim Smith left the band in 2012 to pursue his solo project Harp, with Eric Pulido stepping up as lead vocalist for the band's 2013 album Antiphon. “Antiphon is the most honest representation of the band as a whole, as opposed to one person’s vision that we were trying to facilitate,” Pulido remarked in the album's press release, which characterizes the new music as "free-flowing in feel, concise in structure...it's very much Midlake, but uncannily rebooted, and relaxed."
