Formed in 1993 by local musicians in Des Moines, Iowa they released 2 EPs; “Visceral” (1993) and “Mud Fuscia” (1994) both are now together in the compilation titled “Sprawl”. Modifidious is known for being totally composed of future Slipknot members, the line up of the band was:
Josh “Gnar” Brainard (Vocals, Guitar)
Craig “133” Jones (Guitar)
Nathan “Joey” Jordison (Drums)
Until they split up in 1994 and Joey joined Pyg System. The other members followed when the name changed to Slipknot. Josh left Slipknot in 1999 and was replaced by Stone Sour lead guitarist James Root.
