NeiL were a Japanese alternative/hard rock visual kei band that formed in 1996. In 1997, the group signed to the legendary
indies label, Key Party Records, and immediately became one of the most well known acts on the label. The group got to be so
well known, that in 1999, the group went major, and signed to Columbia. NeiL's mainstream potential would prove to be short
lived, however, as NeiL abruptly split in August of 2000. In 2005, the group was revived one more time for a Key Party band
reunion.
