Neko is an influential psychedelic-folk band that first formed in 1971. It was formed after the disbandment of The Rigannies,which was the first band
of frontman Nobuo Tsunetomi, although he was the guitarist of The Rigannies instead of vocalist. In1975, after only four years together, Neko
disbanded, although their legacy in the folk scene remained large. In 2004, after overthree decades apart, Neko reunited, and have been recording
and touring together ever since.
