Shortly after they started out in 1995, No Motiv made history, by becoming the first band to the ultra-cool Vagrant label. In a way, you could say they paved the way for Alkaline Trio, Dashboard Confessional and From Autumn To Ashes. Their debut record hit in 1999, thereby ensuring that they ended the last century as one of the hottest punk names around. Two years later, Diagram For Healing, kept the momentum going. Their thrid album, Daylight Breaking, has seen them break away from the generic punk scene, and expend the band's sound into a slightly darker direction.
