Operadyse has been founded by Damien Marco in 2006 in Montpellier.
Driven by his passion for movie soundtracks (Klaus Badelt, Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman..) and for Power Metal (Gamma Ray, Helloween,
Rhapsody Of Fire ..), he began to write songs focusing on symphonic instrumentations and lyrics, keystone of the Operadyse's sound, with
powerful guitar and bass lines.
With the collaboration of his two best friends, Bastien Sablé (keyboards) et Jennifer Lassalle (vocals), they began to work on the first
Operadyse's compositions (Celestial Sword, Fairies Secret Garden..). After having hired others musicians to have a whole line-up, Operadyse
participated to the Duels Rock 2009 in Montpellier and wan the competition, awarding the recording of its first EP: «Hope Era Dies».
