Pathfinder was formed in 2006 as an initiative made by Arkadiusz E. Ruth (bass and composing). The main idea behind theband from its very
beginning had been the combination of film music, classical music and a wide scope of metal.After a few years of composing alone, Ruth let
Karol Mania join the band as a guitar player and additional composer. KamilRuth eventually took the role of a drummer for the band, and new

Karol Mania join the band as a guitar player and additional composer. KamilRuth eventually took the role of a drummer for the band, and new
compositions have been written and practiced. A shorttime later, Slavomir Belak (keyboards) and Simon Kostro (vocals) were taken in. After
about six month the group began toperform live shows, now joined by Gunsen (guitar and graphic designer).In 2008 the band recorded their
first demo, called "The Beginning", releasing it the same year. Their debut album "Beyond TheSpace, Beyond The Time" was released in 2010
under the Sonic Attack/Radtone label.At the very end of 2011/beginning of 2012 drummer Kamil Ruth left the band and drummer Kacper "Drum
Kid" Stachowiak tookhis place. Their next album, "Fifth Element", was released in the middle of 2012 with the new drummer in place.Bartosz
Ogrodowicz, originally live keyboard player, became the permanent replacement for Slavomir Belak after the latter leftthe band in early 2013.
Later the same year vocalist Simon Kostro left the band as well, the other members saying that hewas "musically burnt out and tired", though
the split had been friendly and each side wished the other all the best. They arestill looking for a vocalist.
