Pretty Poison is a pop band from Philadelphia that first formed in 1980. Originally a melancholic new wave band, the group later branched out intomuch lighter territory by 1986, embracing the then-popular sound of freestyle pop. Later in 1987, Pretty Poison earned a hit with “Catch Me (I’mFalling)”, which reached number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. After releasing a few more singles and one album of the same name in 1988, PrettyPoison then disbanded in 1992.
