Pride and glory are the brainchild of Black Label Society and Ozzy Osbourne guitarist; Zakk Wylde. Releasing only one self-titled album back in 1994 their career was short-lived, but their sound offered something different to any other release featuring Zakk Wylde. Creating a blend of Southern Rock and Metal, comparisons have been made to both Black Sabbath and Lynard Skynard. The band had no major success, but enjoyed tours with Slash's Snakepit and supporting Whitesnake before Zakk moved on to the more traditionally metal sounding Black Label Society.
