This 5 piece progressive metal band band from Vancouver have a very captivating and diverse sound, shifting from brutal riffs and
aggressive vocals to groovy bass lines and tricky time signatures. The band, consists of vocalist Greg Williams, guitarists Todd Sanft and
Jeff Wang, bassist Craig Rudder, and their fantastic drummer Scott Miller.

aggressive vocals to groovy bass lines and tricky time signatures. The band, consists of vocalist Greg Williams, guitarists Todd Sanft and
Jeff Wang, bassist Craig Rudder, and their fantastic drummer Scott Miller.
Over the years they have evolved their sound dramatically. In their debut 2008 release 'The Falls of Autumn' their musical style is
reminiscent of bands such as Tool and Deftones, creating songs that are constantly shifting grooves that build up to brutalizing chunky
riffs and crunching vocals. The drum work of Scott Miller is heavily prevalent here and displays surprising skill and variation. This album
was shortly followed by the 'Straight out of the Sandbox E.P. which developed their progressive sound and added more emotion. In 2010
the new album "Walks like a Ghost" was released to critical appraise and a shift in style. The new sound is more akin to Post Hardcore
bands like Alexisonfire and Underoath, but maintained the Deftone style. The progressive elements and tricky drumming was toned down
considerably on this album to make room for more emotion and catchy vocals and hooks.
Quartered are a popular live act and are regularly touring there homeland on southern Canada and have supported Lamb of God
