Salon Music is a cult post-punk/new wave duo from Japan. Formed in 1980, the duo were also one of the earliest examples of shoegaze in Japan, as evidenced by their 1988 release, "O Boy". In 2004, Salon Music took a slight hiatus, but returned in 2008, and in 2011, released "Sleepless Sheep", their first original album in nearly a decade.
