Script were a Japanese pop rock group that formed in 1999, when frontman Sasaki Osamu's former band, Moon Child, split. They were known for their energetic, eclectic style which often borrowed heavily from the likes of funk and, occasionally, even hip hop. They split in 2012 once Osamu's former band, Moon Child, announced a reunion.
