Seagram was a rapper from Oakland, California. He first debuted with 1992's "The Dark Roads", and released a few more singlesand one more
album,1995's "Reality Check", before tragically being murdered by a drive-by shooting in July of 1996, at theyoung age of 26. He was reportedly
shielding hislongtime friend and collaborator Gangsta P, who was also seriously injured, andretired from the rap scene afterwards. One more album
was releasedunder Seagram's name, 1997's "Souls on Ice", whichreceived overwhelming positive reviews for its more mature nature and its harsh
descriptions ofthe ghettos which he wasfamiliar with.
