So What? was a heavy metal band from Japan that formed in 1991. By the end of the decade, the group earned a cult following
for their quirky blend of thrash and speed metal, along with numerous comedic lyrics from frontman Tetsuya Kanmuri. In 2003,
after a lengthy hiatus, So What? disbanded, and Kanmuri then went on to form his own project, The Kanmuri.
