Son of Bazerk

Son of Bazerk are a hip hop group from NYC. Initially a solo project of rapper Bazerk in 1983, it later branched out into a full-fledged band by 1988. In 1991, Son of Bazerk released their first album "Bazerk, Bazerk, Bazerk", which was critically acclaimed for its highly unorthodox nature and numerous samples which borrowed from R&B, doo-wop, soul, reggae and even heavy metal. In 1993, Son of Bazerk began work on a second album, although the group ended up disbanding in 1995, and the album was never released. In 2009, after 14 years apart, Son of Bazerk reunited and released "Well Thawed Out" in 2010, which served as the official follow-up to "Bazerk, Bazerk, Bazerk", which was released 17 years prior. « hide
