Sonhouse were an influential Japanese rock band that formed in 1970. Their main sound, which is essentially a mixture of garage rock, psychedelicand
rock 'n' roll, can be comparable to the breakthrough American group, The Stooges. However, after releasing only three full length albums,Sonhouse
ended up splitting in 1978. The group is known to have occasional reunion shows, and continue to have a tremendous cult following today.
