Sputnik were a danish dream pop group that formed in 1997. They released 5 singles during their time as a band, which all were popular hits on Denmark's DR P3 radio station. Eventually they signed to Viatone Records and released Sleepless/Superstar which landed them in a position to negotiate a recording contract with an unknown record label. The band disbanded at an unknown time for an unknown reason, and the majority of their discography cannot be found online.
