Formed in 2011, the band is the songwriting duo of Trent Dabbs and Amy Stroup who have co-written several songs over the past three years, some of which have been placed on TV shows like “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Parenthood,” and “Private Practice,” to name a few. A departure in sound from the moody, subdued tone of their previous collaborations, the album is a throw back to a bygone era of the 50s/60s and inspired by Motown, Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye and The Temptation, the soundtrack of Trent’s childhood. In a recent interview with magazine Brite Revolution, Trent reflects, “It’s definitely the most fun I’ve ever had writing songs.” « hide
