legendary electropop band that sold over 20 million records in Japan, and were one of the most well known bands in JPop
history throughout the 1990's and 2000's. Turmoil struck Komuro in 2008, however, when it was discovered he was involved in a
high-profiled embezzling case, and gathered a total of 500 million yen from fraud. It would cost another 100 million yen to get
Komuro out of jail on bail (thanks to fellow producer giant, Max Matsuura), and his career would be forever tarnished. However,
it seems that Komuro is attempting a comeback, as he is currently producing songs for modern pop artists, such as AAA and
longtime associate, Ayumi Hamasaki. « hide |
