The Intake of Glass

Cambridge Ontario’s five-piece metalcore outfit The Intake of Glass, are extremely happy with where they are right now as a band. This group of skilled musicians have come a long way since their inception in 2008, and are finally seeing things come together. Cambridge Ontario’s five-piece metalcore outfit The Intake of Glass, are extremely happy with where they are right now as a band. This group of skilled musicians have come a long way since their inception in 2008, and are finally seeing things come together. They’ve watched the empty, spiritless rooms they started playing for, turn into epic battlegrounds of metal fans screaming along in unison. The incredible local support they’ve received has given them the confidence to bring their music to forefront of the metalcore genre… by whatever means necessary. In April 2010 The Intake of Glass returned to Sundown Studios to record the second half of their debut EP “Victims of Circumstance,” with local recording engineer Jordan Valeriote. “We are extremely happy with the way these songs came together” guitarist Matt Faria said. “Each song is made up of different elements that even non-metal listeners will be able to appreciate.” The album is set to drop in November 2010. The group also shot their debut music video with Waking Mind Design for the track “Revelations” in August 2010. They’ve spent the past year preparing, developing and polishing every aspect of their music. Expect them to come out swinging. The Intake of Glass feel like this is their time and are about to hit the local music scene with a vengeance. Armed with jaw dropping drum patterns, epic guitar leads, brutal breakdowns and a passionate live show, they are sure to gain the attention of metal fans everywhere. Look for them to be playing a city near you very soon! « hide
