Based out of Minneapolis, MN the group brings a refreshing blend of ambient rock music to the land of 10,000 lakes. Since the release of their 2008 EP of wounds and blessings… the band (under the name Now and Forever) has gained substantial local and regional attention. After changing their name, TKATT headed out east to record songs with producer Ace Enders (The Early November, Ace Enders and a Million Different People) at his Hammonton, NJ studio Pink Space. The King and The Thief spent February and March 2010 recording with producer Izaac Burkhart at his studio in Burnsville, MN. New music is expected to be released summer 2010. Heavy touring plans lay ahead in hopes of establishing a healthy national following. Keep an eye on this hard working band. They won't be a Minneapolis secret for long...
