The Screaming Frogs were a Japaneese indie pop band that formed in 2004. The band was formed by frontwoman Mayumi
Takeda as Tama and drummer Takuya Kusunose, immediately after the controversial split of their previous band, Hysteric Blue.
Compared to the more pop punk-rooted style of Hysteric Blue, The Screaming Frogs are a major contrast, often taking
influences from the Shibuya-kei genre. After releasing a few albums and singles, The Screaming Frogs disbanded in 2011, and
both Takeda and Kusunose are members of the underground band Sabão.
