The Zolge was an underground punk band from Japan that formed in 1983. They are considered to be groundbreaking in the Japanese punk world for
their unique bleak sound which took influence from bleak, gothic-esqued post punk. In 1992, after nearly a decade together, The Zolge disbanded, but
are still regarded as one of the most revolutionary punk bands of Japan of the 1980's.
