Tokyo Jihen (sometimes known as the English equivalent of Tokyo Incidents) is a Japanese jazz-fusion band formed by popular artist Shiina Ringo in 2003. Presumably due to the extremely wide following Ringo has, Tokyo Jihen had enormous popularity, with all of their studio albums going gold and platinum (the only exception being 2010's "Sports", which still managed to top the Japanese Oricon charts). In 2012, immediately after the release of "Color Bars" and after almost a decade together, Tokyo Jihen disbanded. They regrouped in 2019.
