Post rock band Until Sunrise was formed when high-schoolers Joseph Dorsey (guitar, keyboards, production) and Tanner Beard (bass) became
friends and realized they had the same passion for post rock and prog rock music. Joe and Tanner invited David Glaze (guitar, ebow) over to
jam, while Joe’s little brother Sam Dorsey (Drums, Percussion) joined later in the day. That night the four boys wrote Midnight (appearing on
their debut) and the decision to start Until Sunrise was official from that point on.

their debut) and the decision to start Until Sunrise was official from that point on.
Four more songs (Sunset, Pink, Insomnia and Sunrise) were written over the next couple weeks, prompting the band to record an EP to show off
to their friends in school. As Until Sunrise became evolved into a much more serious project, the band wrote more and more; they integrated
what they had into a 70 minute concept album about the events of an afternoon, a night, the morning after and a final moment of contemplation. « hide |
