Valkyria (also known as Вал'кирия) is a Russian metal band formed in 1989 in Zelenograd, near Moscow. They were initially active until 1995, playing progressive/technical thrash metal and releasing one studio album in this style. They reformed in 2000 and have gone through a number of lineup changes and hiatus, releasing a couple more albums in a more industrial/alternative style, as well as re-recording their cult debut and re-releasing it under the name Mystic Mass in 2005.
